Team Violent Reflection Hits 7 Years by usparker at 22:56 07-16-2010

Today, July 16 is the 7th year anniversary of Team Violent Reflection. Throughout the years we've changed our names a few times, starting with "The United Soldiers Clan" on July 16, 2003. At that time we were playing Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, which we still do play a bit here today. After a year or so, a group disband from the clan and formed "SwornToKill" because {US} wasn't in competition at the time. A few months later we jumped right into TWL competition, which led us into a match against our nemesis "STK". Shorty after the match which .us| took with brute force, STK returned and we renamed to "Team Violent Reflection". We continued in TWL 3v3 Ladder all the way to #1 slot, which we held for a long time. A year or so later, a small group of vR disappeared for a short time, coming back as "Team Defect", bringing back the #1 position on TWL's 3v3 ET Ladder again. The team eventually got into a little bit of Combat Arms before the game was ruined by hackers, where we also used the name "Defect". We decided to keep the name "Team Violent Reflection", the name that came from the inspiring frag video "Violent Reflection" by Violence is Bad, a talented RTCW team. Special thanks to the long time members that have kept the team alive and going strong. GG to all the passed teams in ET that have provided good competition for so many years, Thanks!

About a month ago a good portion of our team decided to try out League of legends. Its a fun game very much like DOTA, and its completely free. Its a huge stretch from the typical type of games we usually play but once you have the basics down, its a lot of fun. On that thought, the vR Private server will be shutting down at the end of this 3 month subscription, which will be sometime in July most likely. Unless we receive donations, the vent and private will be going down. ET is dead and full of hackers, its time to move onto something worth playing. Starbucks has provided another vent server that we can use once the subscription is over. To donate for the private server and vent. Visiting Combat Arms once again by usparker at 11:50 10-05-2009

In the last week you've somewhat got back into CA. They banned over 1000 hackers, but there is still a few here and there. They've improved the game with a ton of new guns, and other nexon $#!+ and apparently were also bought out by another company, so hopefully we will see even better improvements yet. We've found about 4 different teams that dont hack, they are apart of wogl, which is a league for CA. Competition in the game is growing, unlike the great ET, which we will still be playing, but I do suggest, if u haven't tried CA, give it a whirl. If you do download it, once your passed "T" and you get to "R" "Recruit" apply for ETPro and ill accept you.

Yes, BDS 2 is finally here after what, 10 years? All we can hope and pray is that Duffy held up to his word about making sequels, "all sequels suck, so im not going to do it if its not going to be good", all we can do is hope and pray. It says here October 30th, idk if thats accurate, ive read somewhere else that it wasnt going to be released in theaters, and it would come out on DVD march of 2010. Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day will premiere on November 1st, 2009 in theaters. It's a big personal victory for the writer and directors of this film, and an homage to the fans of the original film. If you aren't aware of what the Boondock Saints films are all about, take a look at a review of Boondock Saints, and see for yourself. It was an interesting film endeavor that didn't get a lot of "Hollywood treatment" but has found a great following. Now with the Boondock Saints 2 release date officially on the fall film schedule, there will be much more to watch than the typical Halloween slasher fare. Kudos for a studio having the guts to back a sequel that didn't have a successful theatrical release for the first one, but then again it only saw five theaters to begin with. Both films include Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus as the leads."

I have created a team for ClanBase and if you are interested in playing on the team, look in to topic in the Scrims/Pug/Leagues forum. I have instructions there of how to join the team. I will not take everyone, but we will need enough so we can have 6 every week. With classes starting back up for me soon, Parker will be my second in command and ready to take action. This 'seasonal league' as its called should be a lot of fun, and maybe we can improve as a team and hopefully get a name for ourselves. I have finally finished the custom forum theme (after about 10 hours of working on it...). I also added a chat box at the bottom for everyone to talk in. I am still working on the site. I am going to have the chat box on the main website page and finish the vids and downloads pages.
